No Spend Month

Maybe it's the challenge that scares me. I don't know but I have been thinking since I posted this a couple days ago. The only thing I can come up with is, I am under a lot of stress right now. I went and looked up what we have spent money on this month so far and really it's not as bad as I thought.

Gas 30.00
Groceries 124.00 (I rounded it up)

Although that may seem really high for most of you out there with a family of four. That includes a box of diapers, a very small $27.00 can of formula, and healthy foods. I am just gonna to do the best I can this month. There is no way I will be able to save $1000.00 but, I am hoping it can be more like $600.00. I just keep reminding myself that this time last year we would not have been able to save $100.00 a month. I just need to step back and realize just how blessed I am!

On the plus side, with all this snow and freezing cold weather, I have not left the house since Monday. Which means, I haven't been spending any money!!!

  1. I said something to my 4 daughters about what you are going thru. If your area is the same as here. When you find a formula that is good for you( or goats milk like my one grandkid had to use) WIC might be able to help cover some of the costs. Two on my daughters didn't qualify normally but because of the allergy they did get help in that area. Something to check out. Blessed Be..PS I spend normally $200/ wk for 2.That dropped a lot this yr

  2. Thank you so much! I will have to check it out.
