The ER is gonna think that we are frequent flyer's. I was at my wits end last night. Tinleigh cried uncontrollably for 2 hours! I was desperate, there was nothing we could do to get her calmed down. She didn't even want us touching her, which is not her because she is always glued to my hip. Finally I told Brian that I was gonna take her to the ER and that I wanted him to come too. We had already put Ainsleigh to bed so my Mother-in-law came over so we could both leave.
She cried all the way to the hospital only taking 2 or 3 millisecond breaks. Once we got to the hospital she stopped! She was smiling! The happiest baby! What the heck! We get a room and the nurse comes in and says, "You brought her in because she was crying?" Her tone was like "Hello, babies cry!" I went on to tell them that she did something similar to the the night before but was alittle fussy during the day yesterday, not like this. She wasn't eating anything and I wanted her ears checked because this is what she did a couple weeks ago when she had a double ear infection.
"So, was she pulling at her ears?" the nurse asks. I told her again that she never ran a fever or pulled at her ears when she was diagnosed before. It's funny that so far neither of the girls has pulled at their ears when they have had ear infections. Doctors and nurses think they have to due that to have an infection. Drives me crazy when they act like I don't know what I am talking about.
Anyway, we for her a stronger antibiotic and they gave us some numbing drops to put in her ears. Which have worked great because she fell right to sleep after they put the drops in and had been asleep ever since. I sure hope this antibiotic works, I hate to see her like this.
Hope you all have a great day!!
