A Frugal Thought

Who knew you could prolong the life of a Ziploc baggy? :) When I was growing up I always thought a baggy was a one time use. My family never saved or reused anything! Now that I am married and living in the real world we have to make sacrifices to get by. I am always reusing those nifty little bags. So next time you are eating your sack lunch don't throw away that baggy. Take it home, wash it and hang it to dry. One little box of those bags could last you a year or longer instead of buying them every month. Check back next week for another "Frugal Thought."

  1. A lot of people do this. Do you know, they even have special drying racks for washing your plastic bags?
Of course, it goes without saying that you should never re-use a bag that contained raw meat.

  2. No way, a drying rack? That's too funny!!! I just hang them in my kitchen.

  3. I have one of those drying racks!!!
My little sister got it for me for Christmas. I think people must really wonder if it's some weird decoration when it's empty!
